Scope

The electromagnetic (EM) methods, as powerful and important geophysical tools, have been extensively used from tectonic studies to resource explorations, environmental and engineering investigations, as well as increasingly extending their applications to ocean, airborne, and other emerging fields. The planned special issue will focus on the recent advances on the geo-electromagnetic studies, including (1) instrument innovations, (2) rock EM physics, (3) EM exploration theory and methods, (4) forward modeling, inversion and imaging, and (5) applications on the environmental and resources surveys, and (6) other related researches in East Asia. Researchers who have been working on the relative issues in the field of electromagnetic geophysics are welcome to submit their results of research and field applications in the field of electromagnetic geophysics.
